Wells St. Tower

Wells Street Tower is located in the Printer’s Row area of Chicago’s South Loop. The neighborhood surrounding the Tower is one of Chicago’s oldest and most well developed residential neighborhoods. It features a number of excellent restaurants, supermarkets, banks, hardware stores, cleaners and other retailers that residents require. Perhaps the most important feature of the Tower’s location is its proximity to the loop. Among the neighborhoods with a substantial amount of high quality housing, only Printer’s Row/South Loop offers its residents a full compliment of quality retailers and the ability to walk to work.

From a design standpoint, Wells Street Tower seeks to set new standards as well. Its architect is Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Associates, who is well known as the architect for many of Chicago’s finest buildings. The exterior of the building is quite modern, with an extensive amount of glass. The interior of the building reinforces the modern design of the exterior, with every attempt made to enhance the residential nature of the building. Extensive use of rich woods and marbles in the Tower’s lobby, elevators and resident facilities create a tranquil and luxurious atmosphere. This design philosophy is carried into each home, where rich materials, and large, functional living spaces predominate.
